Pedro Gaspar, was born in 1981 and since then he is living in Évora, Portugal. His musical career began at the age of sixteen, after two years of house parties, when he started to mix electronic music, namely house music. That phase had a short duration and after 1 year he went to his first psychedelic trance party, where he discovered a completely new and fantastic world – since that moment he won such happiness with this new music that his cd-players just stop to sleep. :)
So, he started to make dj sets weekly at some bars and discos in Évora, showing the sound that he had discovered to other people.
After this point, he started to play all weekends in free parties around Portugal, and at 2 years ago he was invited to join a Portuguese trance organization called Korporation.org. From that time to now, he started to make international contacts and he is now representing Chaishop.com in Portugal.
Now he has played at major parties and festivals in Portugal, like Yanomani’s Unu festival, Goodmood’s Sinergia 2004, Updown’s FAIA festival, among many others.
To name some musical influences, not directly involved with trance culture, Pink Floyd, Kraftwerk, Air; directly involved with our culture, there are many, but the first are undoubtedly Antix, Paste, Cosma and the great dj sets by Emok and Jeppe from Iboga Records.
