Here is a little resume on what's happened with Kavator around the planet this year... The year started out really good with some partying and networking in Australia. The best party was the Summer-dreaming 15-17th January just outside Byron Bay were I Dj´d just between X-dream and Ollie Wisdom, and of course Nick Taylor, Andrew Till and Amanda was playing too. I did play mostly Swedish and Finnish stuff for about three hours in the middle of the night and it went down extremely well. Scandinavia and Australia seem to be in on just about the same frequencies.. After Australia it was time for some relaxing in Thailand. The party situation on Koh Pah-Ngan was not the best, as you might now. A friend from Sweden, Jonas, did however try to make some good parties but people around Koh Pan that time just seemed to lack the right energies. In mars there was a very appreciated party in a barn just outside Orebro here in Sweden. Allot of old freaks and well known faces turned up from all over the country to make that party the best that far this year.. :). Dj Ifan served us with some of the most twisted sounds around. Then in April it was time to spread some Kavator sounds in Portugal. Summer (by Swedish measurements) had already come to Portugal and the setting was perfect for a small and vibey outdoor-party by the beach just outside Lisbon. The stay in Portugal was really enjoyable Pena, Diogo, Filipe and the others took care of me as a best friend. In May Paulo from Portugal was invited to play together with Battle of the future Buddha's deep in the forest outside Uppsala in the middle of Sweden. Allot of people still don't know what happened to them that night..:) July 30th - 2:nd Aug it was time to head off for the French pyreénes. The party saw a great line-up: Etnica, Crop circles, Lotus Omega, Bamboo forest, Yumade, Absolum, Max, Anti, Jorg, Paulo and myself. Weirdo Beardo (Kavator) was also supposed to do a live performance but was forced to cancel last minute due to a serious personal problem. The party was a big success with about 2500 visitors at the very beautiful location in a valley between the mountains. Kavatorvise this was also a very good experience. I met a very psychedelic organiser from Paris, Pierre of Hades prod., who insisted on making a Kavator party in Paris Nov 6th. There is a party taking place the 6th but not full on Kavator. I will be Dj-ing together with Semsis and some French Dj´s. The Kavator party is being forwarded a month or so, the line-up then will see Logic Bomb and maybe Weirdo Beardo or KaSol. As the returning money from the 12" releases has been a bit slow there has not been enough money to release new records. But due to some side incomes we are able to start the releasing again. First up is a CD comp, which will feature mostly Swedish artist but also, some international: 1. (Logic bomb - Nervo Servo) 2. (Huxflux - Calculus) 3. Weirdo Beardo - Mentallica 4.
