Independence for Trance!

Received in the airport as it says in the book, we follow to the 1:30 distant place of the party, Goiania. When arriving, the pleasant surprise of finding hundreds of people on the dance floor, reviewing local friends, an absolutely crystalline and impeccable sound system, and a beautiful decoration made by the paulistas group Tripodelic and by the "master of backdrops" Brahma, the official decorator of TIP World parties (www.tipworld.co.uk), that together with Chaishop (www.chaishop.com), united this year to make this party come true.

Excellent DJs presented at the 2 non-stop days of the party, among them the brazilians recently arriving from Europe (where they presented themselves in the famous local summer festivals such as Voov Experience and Antaris Project): Marcello VOR, Tati, Ekanta and Swarup, although it was raining full on in Saturday afternoon, the people couldn't stay away from the dance floor, playing like kids in the slops that were formed. The international attractions Sam and Alpha (Germany), Vazik (Mexico), Dimitri Nakov (UK) and the "trance granddad" Raja Ram, didn't do it for less and covered the absence of two other international promises: the isralien Ari Linker aka Alien Project and German Boris Blenn aka Electric Universe :-\, leaving organizers with no time to even think in any substitute for that. Anyhow a big party was expected knowing the competence and big fame of the group Transformation (www.tranceformation.com.br), lead by the couple Andre & Paula ( two true warriors in the trance scene) and their team.

The offered structure, that went from nurses to paramedics, showers with hot water, self-service restaurants and snack-bars, made the crowd forget the problems, partying full-on with great behaviour, without physical incidents (fights or serious medical casualties), all the trash was put where it belongs, with trucks for aluminium recycle getting the cans from time to time during the party, and even with a voluntary team collecting the roach that someone "forgot" to throw in the right place.

"NATURE IS SACRED" was the inscription on the bracelets of the party, and the organisers and the public made their part, no doubt about it.

The good thing in this event was noticing the gradual growth of a part of the electronic scene that until then was just a door for young people to enter, and now is being replaced by well succeed and serious professionals. Today besides the party people and the musicians there is also the decoration groups, the VJs and the Chill-out Djs that live exclusively from Trance parties, which is a reality in Europe and it seems that finally the same is happening in Brazil. Also the tendency of the trance scene in Brazil was reforced by the quality of the national artists, finishing bit by bit the dependence of inviting international artists to bring people to a party.

"Foreigners are great, but so we are". ;-)

The pictures speak for themselves. There's more to come next year...
