In the chaishop chat it doesn't matter anymore wheather you chat using a client or use a java chat. Both chats use the IRC (Internet Relay Chat) so in both cases you chat with everyone interested.

the channel is located in the IRCnet, in some programs you can select some of the IRCnet-servers, if not here are some:

• irc.uni-berlin.de
  irc.uni-erlangen.de
• irc.uni-stuttgart.de
• irc.stealth.net

after you selected the server you must connect it by clicking "Connect" for example.

if you are connected now, type

/join #chaishop.com

This will bring you to the channel. Now you can chat with other chat members!
