Nach zwei vielbeachteten Maxis und dem erfolgreichen Debütalbum „When Gods Make Love“ präsentiert Insolation nun ein weiteres Highlight aus dem C.O.N.Sequencer-Soundlabor. „Echoes“ heißt das neue Album, das S.U.N. Project-Mitglied McCoy zusammen mit seinen Weggefährten Milque und Arrow eingespielt hat und das erneut mit zehn geschliffenen Psy Trance-Perlen aufwartet. Der gewohnte Mix aus warm fließenden Trance-Grooves, housigen Rhythmuselementen und funkigen Bass- und Gitarreneinsätzen kennzeichnet dabei natürlich auch das vorliegende Werk. Während harmonische Tracks wie „Balance”, „Flying Steps”, „Never Die” und „Brain Messiah“ einmal mehr den passenden Soundtrack für die Morgenstunden liefern, tendiert man mit härteren und dunkleren Stücken wie „Download“, „Jetlag“ und „Most Perfect Hallucination“, die jeweils deutliche S.U.N. Project-Einflüsse aufweisen, allerdings auch erstmals in eher nächtliche Gefilde. Ein wunderschöner Ambient-Titel („A.D.V.A.“) rundet dieses Album schließlich ab, mit dem der Hamburger McCoy wieder einmal eindrucksvoll beweist, dass er zurecht seit Jahren zur unangefochtenen Führungselite der Trance-Szene zählt.

After two much-noted maxi singles and the successful debut album „When Gods Make Love“ Insolation presents another highlight out of the C.O.N.Sequencer sound lab. “Echoes” is the new album’s title which McCoy, a member of the S.U.N. Project, has recorded together with his companions Milque and Arrow and that again comes up with ten cut Psy Trance pearls. The usual mix of warm floating Trance grooves, elements of House rhythm and the funky use of bass and guitars characterizes, of course, the present work. While harmonic tracks like “Balance”, “Flying Steps”, „Never Die” and „Brain Messiah“ provide once more an adequate soundtrack for early morning hours, there is a tendency towards more nocturnal realms with harder and darker tracks like „Download“, „Jetlag“ and „Most Perfect Hallucination“, each showing clear effects of S.U.N. Project. Finally a wonderful Ambient title (“A.D.V.A.”) tops this album off by which McCoy, coming from Hamburg, again proves impressively that he rightly belongs to the undisputed leading elite of the Trance scene for years.
