Reiki Connection

Light Healing

Reiki, Reiki, Reiki. We' ve all heard about it and many of us have experienced its amazing healing ability but what actually is it and where has it come from? In the last 200 years various differing systems of Reiki have been established. During the 1800s a Japanese doctor, Usui re-discovered the ancient healing art of Reiki after 21 days of fasting and meditating on the peak of a mountain top. Since then other systems have been developed in theWest which are seen as both complementary and reactionary to the Eastern model

No matter which one you are receiving from, all concerned agree that Reiki is a source of uncorrupted, unconditional love.New Studies by the Centre of Reiki training in conjunction with clairvoyant healer Michelle Griffiths trace the first channelling of Reiki energy back to the Lemurian civilisation 100,000 years ago where it is believed the first humans incarnated on earth.

Reiki was introduced to the Lemurian civilisation when the vibrational god/ consciousness, the divine compassion for all forms of life fell prey to the powers of fear, control, selfishness and anger.The healers of the community channelled Reiki to re-connect with their essential nature. Observed by many psychics as an overwhelming flow of brilliant white light, Reiki has been resurrected in this age of incredible vibrational transformation to assist us back to our true selves, god.

God. I use this word to describe the collective consciousness of love, the light within all which has become dusty with fear and self-consciousness. By placing my hands in different positions along another's body I ask for the source of unconditional love, Reiki to be channelled through me for the recipient’s highest good. I acknowledge any guides and angels that share with me the process of healing and give thanks for their participation. At this stage, depending on how willing the recipient is to receive the healing power of love, and expansive awareness of white light streams through the top of my head. Moving through my being a tingling sensation flows into my hands and connects with the surface of the recipient’s body. Soon after our energies will merge. Depending on the intensity of healing necessary, an extremely light uplifting feeling to a very deep engaging motion will follow. I will have begun to realign the receivers energy imbalance. It feels as though no matter where I place my hands, the light moving through the other being will flow through their blocked channels releasing negative emotions and clearing the way for love, self-acceptance and a clearer harmony to pervade their life.

Normally, I also go through a healing journey because in effect, I am also giving Reiki to myself. Used for healing, physical, emotional and spiritual imbalances the results of a Reiki treatment will always be different. Some people go into profound regression experiences of visionary momentum and deep intuitive realisation. Other reactions will take the form of warm sensations in different body parts, tingling feelings of release or something being lifted, heavy breathing, crying, laughing or just a snug cosy feeling.

Whatever form it takes, the effects of Reiki can still be seen weeks after a treatment. A profound change of thinking or a physical release (anger, crying) may occur when the person has had a chance to integrate the adjustment of energy. It is possible that a strong awareness of issues in one’s own life will be reflected through a bizarre interconnection of synchronicities. In the light of unconditional love all responses will reveal a stronger connection to ones purpose whilst working for the good of all life on earth. This fact is undeniable even though at the time one may experience a large amount of fear or negative emotions. It is necessary for these issues to rise to the surface for a greater more positive vibration to move in.

My most recent success story with Reiki took place a couple of weeks ago at Escape from Samsara. Whilst on the dance floor I noticed a girl who couldn't move her leg and could only sit on the stairs. Following my instincts, I proceeded to apply 10 minutes of Reiki to her leg. I released my hold to find she could onced again move easily and I had a very capable and thankful dancing woman in front of me. Another act of faith rewarded.

Throughout the course of the last year and a half I have studied Reiki 1, 2 and advanced. Techniques are learnt through which to use the power of unconditional love to strengthen this faith. The initial act of attunement, the process of forwarding symbols into the crown chakra of the student by a Reiki master is enhanced by providing ways in which to use the energy as a healing tool. From Reiki 2 the student is provided with a series of symbols which activate different dimensional portals in order to send distance healing beyond time and space to access and link to past life situations and clear negative emotional spaces. These symbols are now used in conjunction with the sending of Reiki to intensify and specify the area being healed. Charging of crystals, manifestation of ones needs, and the sending of Reiki energy to other places around the world are all assisted by the use of these symbols.

The Usui master symbol is used by the advanced practitioner of Reiki to enable a greater voltage of light to be channelled. This will facilitate even deeper vibratory healing. We now work on the levels of past-life and psychic surgery. Here the recipient creates a visual picture of their emotional block in a particular area of their body from where the Reiki practitioner proceeds to pull it from their etheric body and replace it with a more harmonious vibration. In these ways Reiki can be experienced on many different levels to heal a vast array of imbalances existing in many different dimensions.
