Trance Demonstration

This Demonstration was a Knockout Victory for the Trance scene !!!

Demonstration was held in the middle of Tel-Aviv - in Rabin Square , more then 30.000 people came, young & old , black & white, religious & non religious , Jewish, Muslims and Christians - all kind of people. many different groups but all were united for this issue "give a chance to Trance"

More then 30.000 ppl were jumping and dancing simultaneously to the beat, atmosphere was hot and the sound of trance went up to the brain. All the artist perform for free so the music concept was to play the old mega hits from the past and it's was just excellent and it didn't really matter what was played.

The design made by Amir Gilat which include distorted swinging butterflies in neon colors, smiling alligators and rapidly spinning pinwheels in bright pink and orange add the trance high.

I arrived to Rabin square at 19:00 , the place was already full with 10.000 ppl and the sound system by "musica plus" was excelent so you could heard the music far from Rabin square. I have missed Dj Dede , Zultan, Sandman (Itzik levy) , Xerox & Freeman and the first track I heard were made by Mystica , then especially for the demonstration "Indoor" one of the famous band made a reunion and played 3 classic tracks of "Indoor" & "Phreaky" , then Chakra & Edi Mis took control and played 4 tracks from " the promised land" : X-files, Barbarian, Brain in the box & Club Med, the crowd was really excited and everybody was jumping and dancing rapidly. Avi Elgranti - Space Cats add 2 tracks by him and he was followed by Ofer Dikovsky - Oforia - the new king of Israeli Trance. Ofer played one track of tandu and two tracks of him and gave the best performance of the evening. California Sunshine was represented by Ha-rel (Dj Miko didn't came cause he is playing in Japan) who played some melodic morning tunes but the crowd wanted something more powerful and we got them from the trance masters "Astral Projection" who send us all high like always. they started with "Let there be a light" which was meaningful and also "Mahadeva" & "Dancing Galaxy".

DJ Zoo_b was the last one to play and the only one who played non-Israeli tracks to give the music a different direction, he played "the delta" remix and another track by "Quirk" and all the people were dancing like crazies.

The Police didn't interfere with the crowd apart from hundreds off the undercover Policeman's who have arrested 42 people for drug use but they didn't find any Drug-Dealers and it made the police very embraced and the police point that "this parties are only for drugs" were found ridicules.

Many newspapers reporters came and took many pictures, some TV cameras by Channel 1 and Channel 2 and there was even a crew from CNN, who filmed the occasion.

Some people made speeches : Asher Haviv the Demonstration organizer, Ella Gutman from the Radio, Simha Golan from the anti-drugs organization and our Parliament member Dedi Tzuker who said " You won !!! , the Trance community won ! So many people came so NO - ONE will be able to avoid the Trance Community and the trance music, there is a drugs problem but drugs are anywhere so the police will have to fight against drugs but let people dance to trance music and party anywhere". Alon Dotan was the trance community representative " we have the pressures of the army, a tense political situation and a difficult economy to deal with. Lets us party !!"

The crowd was excited by his words and everybody were clapping hands and shouting for several minutes.

Trance will win many friends after this Demonstration ! may it wake up the authorities to act on what they should and live us Trancers to dance freely in our country. Keep on the fight 4 the right to Trance.

It was the biggest trance party in Israel, there was never a party like this in Israel , so united and so shit free.
