Momra Encuento

After partying and having such good time in BOOM festival we couldn't miss the "Momra Encuento" festival in Spain. "Full power no control !" , with high energy and plur vibes we took the van and drove 1600 km to Besalu, 200 km northern east from Barcelona. after driving some minutes on the green fields and the marvelous sun flowers fields we saw the MOMRA sign and finally have found the place.

some nice people on entrance gave us low price tickets and all people in festival were nice and friendly. The festival was held in a private property . in the middle of a beautiful forest there were some big green fields were people have put their tent's and there was an ancient castle with a swimming pool where people could swim,relax,have a chat and enjoy the sun. in front of the castle there was a big backyard with a natural roof of trees and a beautiful view of the surrounded mountains. some hammock's were hang between the trees and place was decorated with some fluro painting. just the place for chillout area ! . the castle was on a hill and the dancing area was 500 meters down the hill , so the road from the chillout area to the dancing area was the market area where lot's of people were selling all kind of clothes,jewellery,smoking instruments like chillums, some food and offcourse chai. during days temperature was really hot and at night it was cold around 2000 people arrived to the festival from all over the world , I saw many people from Spain/France/England/Germany & Japan. all kind of people: families with childrens,traveleres and locals age 20-50. all of them have bring their tent's and camping equipment, so place was full with all kind of tent's. we were very happy to meet so many people from Boom festival again in Momra Encuento again.

it was like a reunion. organization was not superb , maybe since it was the first Trance festival in Spain. the showers were realy bad, there weren't enough toilets and no one have cleaned the area so in the last day there was a lot of garbage anywhere. organizers planted that the camping area will be calm but french guy and his friends came with an excellent small sound system and they were playing trance music during all days and all nights and many people came to dance with them. so, the camping area was very crowded. on the second day (Saturday) at 20:00 suddenly sky became dark and a strong rain began and hit us for 3-4 hours. sound system was broken by the rain and the dancing area was flooded, so party was canceled and was moved to the chillout area. it was kind of dissappointment but we still had a good time sitting,talking & dancing in the chillout area with lot's of people with positive energies till noon. it was hard to tell who was playing but the best DJ was the 14 years old kid from Germany who played a nice powerfull set. there wasn't any rain in the last day ,party area was dry and the sound system was fixed. we went down the hill to the dancing area at 3:00, 500 people were already dancing and people kept on coming till we were 1500. the decoration was amazing !!! Inga Bourin has brang all the psychedelic big flouro painting from Boom and beside that there were many huge psychedelic lounge's with fluro painting all over the place, there were also giants fluro doll which their hands and legs were moved by people during the night and it looked like Alien's are dancing with us in the party.

music during night was quite good and when the sunrise appear X-DREAM , the trance masters from Germany were playing a live set and the crowd went nuts. sound system was excellent and the sounds by X-DREAM didn't let anyone to sit down, people with lots of energy were jumping and dancing simultaneously to the beat.all dancing together: the trance tribe ! it was certainly the highlight of the festival, we were just sad they played only 1.5 hours. I'm not sure who was playing after,music was ok but they kept playing night music and there wasn't any DJ that played morning tunes. the party has stopped at 12:00, vibes were so good and energy was high, people could dance for some more hours. even thought there was a parachute tied by rope's & held by helium balloons above the dancing area which made some shadow,it was too small & the sun was very hot and it was hard to dance. after that there was some music on the chillout area till 16:00. we had to catch a flight to Israel from Portugal so, again we took all tents and camping stuff , put them in the van, say goodbye to all the nice & beautifull people we met with tears and drove for several hours with Momra Encuento festival memories on our minds. we sure gonna save those for long.. well done Spain. give us more.
