First of all, first flyers for this event were spreaded 6 days before the party took place, so i think that party organizers are in financial minus now and i feel sorry for them, but maybe they will have better luck in the future. All money should go to one of Belgrade best theathres that was burn in fire :(. But i doubt that they will have a single dinar to donate. Line Up- Dizzy Dee, YU 23:30 - 01:10 Joti Sidhu 01:10 - 03:20 Steve Ronan 03:20 - 06:30 The party was held in a huge sport centre called Pinki. Only 1000 (maybe less) people were present. There was a lot of space to dance, temperature was almost perfect, wasnt cold, wasnt hot :). Sound was great; visuals would be shit without laser that was 'on' for the whole night! Fuck yeah projectios with this tool, at one moment i found myself on a platform above the people that were dancing down, and the view was amazing! Word about security: i have never seen so much police on a party before!! (well, when the Prodigy were here 2 years ago, there were more police, but nevermind). I talked with some people the day after the party and they were in great paranoia because of this, as they had some stuff with them. Maybe the reason for this huge security is the party that was broke around 2 am somewhere in May this year. UX and Joti should play then, and someone threw tear gas around 2am, and 1.8k people had to ran away from the floor. So, i think huge security is not the bad idea at all; if you want to drop somethin, do it before you enter the building. Dizzy Dee is a guy from yugoslavia, i have never heard of him before, but he wasnt bad at all; few mistakes during the mix, but nevermind. Steve Ronan was the next and he was really great at the beggining of his set, somewhere at the middle vibe was a little down, but he ended in a good way. Joti got a great encourage from the audience and really did a great job! Joti and Steve Ronan played almost all from dats. I really enjoyed his set, and when all the lights were on (6:10 am), crowd continued to dance, everybody were smiling to everybody :). Great vibe indeed, i was so tired of dancing all night so i had to go home and i cant tell you how was on the chill-out. party gets 8 (1-10). take care, BK |
